Vermont Tech Results Yield Big Results

  • 25 % increase in crop yield- basil, and lettuce
  • Reduction in bio fouling- no more algae
  • Increase in nutrient uptake

“…Increasing nutrient uptake will produce healthier and higher-yielding crops, all while decreasing the environmental burden...”

Dr. M. Sama, Chair Science Dept, Vermont Tech College

Open Field Agriculture- ICL , USDA & University of Connecticut

EarthWise has partnered with  ICL Fertilizer, the USDA and the University of Connecticut to prove effectiveness of our CLEAN technology in countering biofouling  and odor in fertilizer used in Open Field Agriculture. ICL Fertilizers is one of the world’s largest fertilizer companies, providing farmers, growers, and manufacturers on five continents with a wide range of high-performance plant nutrition solutions.

EarthWise CLEAN: Poultry Processing- USDA & University of Arkansas

“CDC estimates that each year 1 in 6 Americans get sick from contaminated food or beverages and 3,000 die from foodborne illness. The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) estimates that foodborne illnesses cost the United States more than $15.6 billion each year”. CDC May 2022

Earthwise is working with the USDA and  the University of Arkansas using our game-changing nano bubble technology to demonstrate the cleaning power of bursting nano bubbles combined with the sanitation of Ozone in poultry processing.

  • Provides safe delivery of Ozone without impact      on animal and human health
  • Allow for the easy and convenient delivery of      the disinfecting ozone by spray or wash
  • Keeps the ozone sanitation effects active for      hours or days

EARTHWISE ECONOMIC ADVANTAGE = INCREASED PROFITS

EARTHWISE ECONOMIC ADVANTAGE- (EEA) A Clear Win For Growers!

Below is an economic analysis of the production of lettuce in a hydroponic greenhouse over a 12-month period. The analysis is based on research done by Vermont Technical College in March of  2022. The analysis demonstrates the effects of Earthwise technology that result in a clear increase in profits for growers.

PARAMETERS OF ANALYSIS

An economic analysis of the production of lettuce in a controlled environment greenhouse of 17,000 sq. feet. The analysis compares the use of EarthWise watering systems with ultrafine (micro) bubbles versus production of lettuce using normal water

ANALYSIS CONCLUSION

NET INCOME

Change in Net Income UP $176,429 with EEA

DETAILS / CALCULATIONS OF ANALYSIS

GROSS REVENUES WITHOUT and with EEA

Gross Revenues without EEA $473,000 without EEA

Gross Revenue WITH EEA $ 581,790 with EEA

PRODUCTION COSTS WITHOUT AND WITH EEA

Total Production costs without EEA $378,400

Total Production costs WITH EEA $310,761

All production costs remain unchanged except:

  • 30% decrease in labor – from $141,900 to $99,330
  • 10% decrease in fertilizer, pesticides, fungicides- from  $37,840 to  $34,056
  • 15 % decrease in energy – from  $94,600 to  $80,410
  • 30 % decrease in water - from  $23,650 to  $16,555

NET INCOME

Net Income without EEA $94,600

Net Income WITH EEA $ 271,029

Change in Net Income UP $176,429 *

*Additional yield on same capital base and lower production input costs results in a REAL increase in net income
